The Big Blue Ball project continues to engage new participants in a continuing interchange of ideas.

Donna extended the project further by reflecting on participants' interpretations. These reflections were recorded as hand painted miniatures; small, magnetic-backed, wooden blocks, 100 x 100mm in size. The paintings fit neatly in the palm of a person's hand, so are accessible and easy to handle.

These paintings act as ideas that can be renegotiated and reconstructed to form new meanings. 200 of these miniature ‘imagetexts' have been produced and are made publicly available at various exhibiting sites; spectators can continue the communication process by moving the blocks around on the table and up the wall, reflexively constructing new ideas and new meanings.
